Gutter clearing in Prestbury
Langley Window Cleaning receive a call from a customer in Prestbury regarding gutter clearing. He wants to know if we could clear some blocked gutters. It turns out to be a bit more than the call suggests.
Looking at the gutters – what did we find?
Usually Langley Window Cleaning would use our high reach poles and inspection cameras to look into the gutters and see what needed clearing. But, at this property, this wasn’t necessary. It was evident from ground level that most of the roof valleys were full of leaves. We can also see large clumps of grass growing from the gutters as we walk around the side of the property.

But it’s at the rear of the property that we find the main problem. These gutters are completely blocked and have some rather luxurious growth in them, not quite the Hanging Gardens, but certainly running them close.

We get to work clearing the gutters.
Using our high reach vacuums we clear all of the roof valleys and the smaller blockages from the gutters. The larger blockages need high reach claws to break them up. In some areas we even need two vacuums to release the roots from the gutter brackets. Overall Langley Window Cleaning remove about 190 litres of grass, mud, leaves, twigs and even mushrooms from the gutters.

End result – cleared gutters.
After a long day the valleys and gutters are completely clear. The gutters are now able to do their job of diverting rain, leaving one happy customer.

We suggest that he doesn’t leave it so long before they are cleared again and we book him in for a clear in October/November.
